In order to achieve our vision, we need innovative, inspiring and dynamic people to join our team. <br /><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Your new role <br /></strong><br /></div><div>As our Director of Product, you will be part of our DataCentral Product Organisation Team.<br /><br />The  DataCentral Product Organisation Team, partners all areas of Digital science and adds value through contributing to the strategic growth plans of the business.<br /><br /></div><div>In your role as Director of Product you will be part of the senior leadership within the Digital Science Product team, responsible for overseeing the evolution of the ‘DS Names’ organizations dataset. <br /><br />This includes managing high-quality data curation, developing affiliation and organization disambiguation, and ensuring data accuracy to support critical research intelligence, funding analysis, and policy insights. <br /><br /></div><div>You’ll lead an international team of curators (both internal and external), ensuring strategic alignment between database curation and disambiguation, while also collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to meet customer needs across government, academia, and enterprise. <br /><br /></div><div>As a skilled leader in data product management—or an engineer ready to move into a product-focused role—you’ll drive innovation, foster collaboration, and contribute to shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your portfolio. <br /><br />This position demands strong product thinking, technical insight, a commitment to quality, and the ability to align data governance with business and market needs.</div> <h2> What you’ll be doing  </h2> <ul><li>You will be leading the evolution of our ‘DS Names’ organizations dataset, encompassing both the curation of high-quality, structured datasets and the development of affiliation and organization disambiguation on source documents.</li><li>Working with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to ensure data accuracy, usability, and alignment with customer needs.</li><li>Develop and lead high-performing product teams through line management, mentoring, and coaching.</li><li>Manage the end-to-end data product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and later to end-of-life.</li><li>Provide visibility to and inspire confidence in all stakeholders with respect to our data product roadmap and development plans.</li><li>Liaise with customer support and sales teams to gather customer feedback, identify pain points, and prioritise data improvements.</li><li>Support the Commercial &amp; Business Operations team with writing and reviewing RFP responses, and developing statements of work.</li></ul> <h2> Living our Values </h2> <div>We invest in, nurture and support innovative businesses and technologies that make all parts of the research process more open, efficient and effective. </div><div><br /></div><div>The talent we secure is fundamental to us achieving our vision and our growth plans.
