As Market Research Manager, you’ll go beyond data to champion the voice of patients, HCPs, and partners across our business. You’ll deliver meaningful, actionable insights that fuel strategic decisions and accelerate growth. The Market Research Manager will be a vital member of the Global Market Research team and will play a key role in Dexcom’s business strategy with a passion for customer insights and storytelling with data. This role works closely with commercial, marketing, and analytics partners.
This position is responsible for supporting US and Global market research tracking efforts for the core brands of the organization. Responsibilities include market research project design and execution in accordance with the market research process and company strategy. The position studies external stakeholder groups – patients, healthcare professionals, payers, and partners – and connects disparate tracking studies to tell a cohesive narrative about brand performance across stakeholder groups and markets.
The Market Research Manager has experience executing traditional primary, secondary, and syndicated market research methods in a matrix healthcare organization and has a passion for understanding the customer and representing their voice. The successful candidate will demonstrate learning agility in regard to new and complex business issues and find reward in contributing to innovative and commercially successful messaging, products, and services.
Where you come in:
- You independently lead quantitative brand equity and promotional effectiveness tracking studies—from clarifying objectives and designing methodologies to analyzing data and delivering reports.
- You ensure consistency across tracker waves, reconcile discrepancies, and translate findings into meaningful insights for internal stakeholders.
- You manage or support a range of U.S. and global research initiatives, including concept testing, segmentation, messaging, brand positioning, equity measurement, and market opportunity assessments.
- You collaborate with internal teams and external research partners to develop methodologies and execute fieldwork effectively.
- You oversee logistics for qualitative and quantitative research, including screener development, respondent recruitment, and vendor management.
- You craft compelling storylines from data, integrate findings with team knowledge, and deliver presentations and workshops to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- You synthesize research themes into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and customer-centric initiatives.
- You integrate insights across multiple sources to provide a holistic view of brand and market performance.
- You act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, championing the voice of the customer and driving innovation through new tools and methodologies.
What makes you successful:
- You bring expertise in planning and executing both qualitative and quantitative market research within pharmaceutical, med tech/medical device, or consumer packaged goods industries.
- You have a strong command of brand research methodologies and how they integrate into brand planning and execution.
- Your analytical skills include advanced quantitative techniques such as conjoint analysis, discrete choice modeling, and segmentation.
- You are a strategic thinker who translates complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Your communication skills—both written and verbal—enable you to present data through compelling storytelling and visualizations.
- You demonstrate a strong ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven narratives and insight-led discussions.
- You are proficient in using generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance research efficiency and innovation.
- You are highly organized, with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Your adaptability and collaborative mindset help you navigate shifting priorities and foster strong cross-functional relationships.
- You are fluent in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and have a solid foundation in statistical theory.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 – 12 years of related experience.
- At this level a Graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
