The company continuously develops its four sites in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs and Szeged and is looking for skilled IT professionals to join its team.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Design, implement and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions using IBM TSM/Spectrum Protect and Veeam, ensuring data protection across virtual, physical, and cloud environments.</li><li>Perform backup scheduling, retention policy management and capacity planning, aligning with RPO/RTO requirements and compliance standards.</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot backup/restore operations, proactively identifying issues and resolving failures to ensure high backup success rates and data availability.</li><li>Integrate and optimize backup processes for critical databases, including SAP HANA (via Backint), Oracle RMAN, and other enterprise workloads.</li><li>Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure consistent and reliable data protection strategies for business-critical systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks, configuration guides, and audit reports, while leading DR test exercises and compliance checks.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Strong understanding and at least 3 years experience of backup software (IBM TSM/Spectrum Protect and Veeam), storage technologies (SAN, NAS), and networking concepts.</li><li>Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.</li><li>Capability to interpret backup logs and reports, identify trends, and proactively address potential problems.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with other IT teams and effectively communicate technical information.</li><li>English language knowledge.</li><li>Participation in On-Call duty.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><div></div><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
