The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.</p><p><strong>Main tasks</strong></p><p>As a Database Engineer:</p><ul><li>You are involved in everything related to Oracle, PostgreSQL (and NoSQL) databases: design, maintenance, migrations, administration, configuration, etc.</li><li>You support and educate developers and DevOps Engineers about the best practices in clean database design.</li><li>You like it to dig deep into a complex problem like creative problem-solving or implementing innovative solutions.</li><li>You are curious to try out new technologies to constantly improve and expand our wide range of know-how.</li><li>Be part of our database team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own (we maintain a strong DevOps culture).</li><li>You feel comfortable working in an international self-organized team in an agile organization and you would like to grow with us personally.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Background and required skills:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Exceptional knowledge of Oracle</li><li>Good knowledge of PostgreSQL</li><li>Good knowledge of scripting in Shell, Ansible and PL/SQL and of the LINUX.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.</li><li>Proficiency in Jira &amp; Confluence.</li></ul><p><strong>Advantage:</strong></p><ul><li>You are familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana) and with backup/recovery (Oracle RMAN / Dataguard)</li><li>Experience with MySQL</li><li>Experience with MongoDB</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with OpenSearch</li><li>Experience working in SAFe environment.</li><li>German language knowledge</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><div></div><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
