The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.</p><p><strong>Main tasks</strong></p><p>As Database admin you will:</p><ul><li>Handle incidents</li><li>Plan / coordinate / implement changes</li><li>Update / create / transfer documentation</li><li>Take over hotline duties (during the day) / check FMB emails / act as first contact for incidents &amp; tasks</li><li>Take on on-call duty</li><li>Implement vendor patches / security patches</li><li>Clarify and document licenses</li><li>Participate in cross-team alignments</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Background and required skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, natural science, mathematics, business or equivalent work experience in IT</li></ul><ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in the administration and implementation of database solutions (Oracle, Postgres, Crunchy, MySQL).</li><li>Experience in planning, installing, and configuring the above-mentioned database systems.</li><li>Knowledge in troubleshooting and maintaining the above-mentioned database systems.</li><li>Familiarity with OpenShift container technologies</li><li>Experience with database management tools and monitoring solutions.</li><li>Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English to ensure quick problem resolution (incident management) and internal team coordination.</li><li>Team player with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.</li></ul><p>Advantage:</p><ul><li>Experience working in SAFe environment.</li><li>Jira/Confluence - project management and documentation platforms</li><li>Know-how in Linux scripting and implementing automated database provisioning.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p><div></div><p>* Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.</p>
