Overview
As a Vice President Business Manager Regulatory Strategy and Operating Model in the COO team of Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank in the US, you will support the Head of Private Bank US and COO Private Bank US in managing the regulatory agenda across our business. This includes a consistent approach to managing the regulatory dialogue, deliver consistent quality in remediation of regulatory findings and self-identification of areas of focus timely and pro-actively.
Additionally, you will develop and enhance our operating model with a focus on our risk and control environment adding crucial capabilities across all parts of the business. You will be work closely on all deliverables with the Business, our Divisional Control Office, Business Supervisory Office, and Client Lifecycle Management teams, as well as our 2LoD control partners.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and prepare key regulator meetings
- Represent Private Bank US in key regulator engagements alongside the Private Bank US management team
- Create a common view on regulatory priorities and key focus areas across our business
- Track and monitor progress on regulatory deliverables, exams, and findings remediation
- Develop and implement enhancements to our operating model with focus on automating key controls
- Oversee resourcing needs/ budgets and prepare staffing requests for key initiatives

Skills You’ll Need
- A strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Experience in managing regulatory affairs within a financial institution
- Consulting background in Bank regulation
- Master’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $110,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
