Overview

As an Accountable client owner (ACO) Support in Corporate Coverage at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our client relationships by ensuring compliance with Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards. You will collaborate with Coverage Bankers to support multinational corporate clients, coordinating KYC tasks and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Your efforts will ensure that our Corporate Bank continues to lead in providing integrated and effective solutions to clients globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Coverage Bankers to complete KYC and AML tasks, including periodic and event-driven reviews, for a designated client portfolio

  • Manage client perimeter by supporting Accountable Client Owners (ACOs) in feedback actions and monitoring the pipeline for potential risks of overdue cases

  • Act as a liaison for KYC-related activities, ensuring accurate ACO allocations and coordinating portfolio monitoring on a global scale

  • Prepare KYC cases for review, ensuring full compliance with Deutsche Banks global and local KYC policies

  • Utilize strong influencing skills to work effectively with stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of KYC-related tasks and resolution of key issues

  • Serve as the local contact for KYC systems and coordinate with relevant teams to address any system-related issues

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the corporate financial services industry

  • Proficiency in client due diligence for various entity types, such as multinational corporations and funds

  • Strong understanding of KYC, sanctions, and screening procedures, including documentation requirements

  • Proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills to engage with senior management and clients

  • Ability to work effectively under time-driven deadlines to complete KYC review cases

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and clients

  • Additional language skills relevant to the region of work are advantageous

  • Strong team player capable of collaborating with middle office analysts, compliance, and business stakeholders

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing complex cases and facilitating resolutions

  • Familiarity with KYC systems like CRV, dbSleuth, and dbCLM

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $65,000 to $107,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
