<h2>Job Description:</h2>Job Title: ABS US CLO Desk Origination and Execution Banker Corporate Title: Vice President - DirectorLocation: New York, NY ALL ROLES TO BE CONSIDEREDOverviewYou will be a member of Deutsche Bank’s CLO Primary franchise within the Asset-Backed Securities team, reporting to the Head of US CLO Primary. The remit of the US CLO Primary team encompasses a broad range of sectors, including broadly syndicated CLOs, middle market CLOs, venture/recurring revenue securitizations, infrastructure CLOs, and certain other collateralized corporate debt securitizations. This role will have responsibility for managing all aspects of the structuring and execution of new issue CLO transactions, from initial pitch stage through to closing settlement and execution, including establishing warehouses, supervising portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling, capital structure tranching and optimization, preparing marketing material, responding to investor diligence requests, obtaining the target tranche ratings, negotiating legal documentation and facilitating settlement and execution.  In such role, you will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, requiring strong communication skills, both written and oral.What We Offer You <ul><li>A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration</li><li>A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days</li><li>Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement</li><li>Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits</li><li>Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs</li></ul>What You’ll Do <ul><li>Managing all structuring and execution aspects for certain transactions within the DB US CLO Primary sphere – this includes a broad range of products, encompassing broadly syndicated CLOs, middle market CLOs, venture/recurring revenue securitizations, infrastructure CLOs, ESG CLOs and certain other corporate debt securitizations</li><li>Interact with a broad range of internal and external transaction participants, including asset manager clients, prospective investors, secondary trading, sales and research colleagues, rating agencies, internal risk management functions, trustees, collateral administrators, corporate service providers, legal counsels and regulatory, tax and accounting experts</li><li>Develop and cultivate a broad network of direct relationships with both issuers and investors across the wide spectrum of the CLO Primary team’s products</li><li>External representation of the DB CLO franchise on industry panels and conferences, and reviewing and negotiating legal transaction documentation</li><li>Obtaining internal transaction approvals from risk management functions, including credit, legal, regulatory, and accounting, determining capital structure tranching and optimization, and responding to investor due diligence requests</li><li>Liaising with rating agencies to obtain the target tranche ratings, and performing market research and analytics</li></ul>How You’ll Lead <ul><li>Leading the establishment and negotiation of warehouse facilities, supervising portfolio analysis, and supervising closing settlement and execution</li><li>Assisting with preparation of marketing material, supervising monitoring and reporting on warehouse risk exposure, and supervising cash flow modeling and scenario analysis</li></ul>Skills You’ll Need <ul><li>Prior CLO experience in CLO structuring</li><li>Ability to manage multiple transaction counterparties to meet deadlines, with the ability to multi-task while leading concurrent transactions</li><li>Anticipate needs: demonstrate initiative &amp; pro-activeness with a willingness to learn with a Curious attitude with desire to dig deeper to develop a detailed understanding</li></ul>Skills That Will Help You Excel<ul><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral</li><li>A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team, and work well under pressure</li><li>Excellent organization / prioritization skills and strong attention to detail</li><li>Good quantitative skills</li><li>Ability to develop junior resources</li></ul>ExpectationsIt is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $500K.
