<div>Demiurge Studios is seeking an experienced senior producer to shepherd world building and art production on our newest project, an open world action RPG, targeting PC and console platforms. The team is currently in pre-production, so this is a great time to join and make a big splash! You will be working closely with the Art Director and Lead Producer, ensuring that pipelines are laid, plans are clear, and the team is set up for success. You will also serve as the primary producer focused on external development, building strong relationships and keeping all teams aligned and on target.</div><div><br /></div><div>In this role, you will proactively work to identify and remove any obstacles to your team’s success. Producers at Demiurge are accountable for project execution, including project planning, risk management, and maintaining alignment across teams. Your mission will be to enable internal and external artists to do their best work. You have many tools in your toolbox, and know how to customize them, adapting to new and complex challenges. You are as comfortable leading from the front as you are acting as a support behind the scenes. If you are driven by collaboration, creativity, and leading teams to do their best work, this might be the role for you!</div><div><br /></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with the lead producer, art director, and other key stakeholders to define and manage art pipelines, throughout vertical slice and production.</li><li>Build, validate, and maintain a clear development plan for the world-building team, including dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.</li><li>Develop strong connections with external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration between teams - aligning expectations, tracking progress, and resolving any issues that arise.</li><li>Proactively identify and manage risks - in technology, timeline, staffing, and general team health.</li><li>Regularly report on progress, risks, and changes for your areas to promote visibility across team lines.</li><li>Be accountable for overall art production for the project - ensuring quality, timeliness, and strong collaboration with the rest of the team.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>10+ years game industry experience, including 5+ years of art production experience</li><li>Experience developing 3D action games, including specific knowledge of the world-building process</li><li>Experience working through each phase of the game product life cycle for PC &amp; console games (e.g. pre-production, production, launch, and live operations)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to create aligned project roadmaps and timelines, and to adapt them to each phase of development.</li><li>Proficiency in driving process change under a variety of agile and fixed-time development processes</li><li>History of successfully working with external stakeholders and navigating client and vendor relationships</li><li>Ability to coordinate distributed teams, including a mix of internal developers, co-development partners, and outsourcing.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including reporting to a wide variety of stakeholders</li><li>Strong team-building skills, including motivation, mentoring, and managing conflict</li></ul><div><br /></div><div><b>About Us:</b></div><div>Headquartered in Boston, MA at Demiurge you will find a studio with an amazing, collaborative culture and a deep respect for art in all our games.
