This individual will report to the VP, Field CTO and play a key role in driving our continued growth nationally. The Solutions Architect will work closely with our sales team and executives.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.  You will be passionate about selling and helping advance innovative solutions and technologies to CEOs, CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and other security team members.  We are looking to fill this role locally with resources who are willing to travel both locally and regionally weekly to visit existing and prospective customers and partners, as well as Deepwatch Centers of Excellence.  At Deepwatch, you will be able to help our customers evolve and mature their security practices adding instant value to their security programs. You will be a part of a highly skilled team that is making a meaningful impact in the security space.  In this role, you’ll get to: <ul> <li>Represent Deepwatch’s full portfolio of subscription and services offerings</li> <li>Support Account Executives in providing consulting into Deepwatch services</li> <li>Understand and interpret client business and technical requirements to translate product benefit across all types of buyers and influencers</li> <li>Provide scoping and calculation of services costs</li> <li>Assist with new business pursuits by generating proposals, RFP responses and other efforts within the sales process with urgency</li> <li>Provide strategic consulting to customers on how to mature and streamline cybersecurity operations and programs</li> <li>Learn new and emerging technologies, including related certifications</li> <li>Attend industry trade shows and security related conferences in support of activities</li> <li>Remain current with the evolving threat landscape, information security news, techniques, and trends</li> <li>Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while managing expectations and project milestones</li> <li>Leverage exceptional communications skills to lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with C-level audiences across major enterprise accounts and across channel partner teams</li> <li>Effectively manage project tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner</li> <li>Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members</li> <li>Provide technical support throughout the sales process</li> <li>Manage POCs where applicable</li> <li>Research and position Deepwatch solutions versus competitors</li> <li>Provide input into overall company strategy and product roadmap</li> <li>Generate content for digital marketing and industry thought leadership</li> </ul> To be successful in this role, you’ll need: <ul> <li>4+ years of previous sales engineering/solutions architecture experience, preferably within the MDR industry and threat intelligence industries</li> <li>7+ years of applicable information security experience, with a fundamental understanding of software, network, and cloud architectures</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced data management concepts including ETL, long term data storage, and business intelligence</li> <li>Information security consulting and sales support and/or engineering and architecture experience</li> <li>To be willing to train others and lead engagement teams</li> <li>Experience responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in a dynamic fashion</li> <li>To develop technical champions outside of regularly scheduled sales calls</li> <li>Highly motivated mindset that does not require day-to-day management</li> <li>To possess experience managing security programs and operations including managing security solutions such as managed SIEM, MDR, EDR, VM, and FW infrastructure</li> <li>To be an agile problem solver who builds collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and prioritizes parallel tasks efficiently</li> <li>To be familiar with operational and technical experience with Splunk Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Google SecOps and other leading SIEM providers </li> <li>To be familiar with IT service management tools including ServiceNow and JIRA</li> <li>Articulate the fundamentals of MITRE ATT&amp;CK, CIS and NIST cybersecurity framework</li> </ul> Demonstrate proficiency in: <ul> <li>Threat intelligence integrations</li> <li>Security automation and orchestration deployment</li> <li>Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon Platform and SentinelOne EDR tools</li> <li>Firewall and Intrusion Detection and Prevention products and operations</li> <li>Incident response process maturity</li> <li>Tenable vulnerability management products/deployments</li> <li>Deploying systems to Amazon Web Services, Azure, and GCP</li> </ul> ITAR Compliance This position will have access to customer data and as such is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
