This role is at the heart of Deepgram’s growth—sitting at the intersection of developer empathy and growth execution. The right candidate will bring a mix of developer credibility, marketing instincts, experimentation rigor, and PLG obsession.This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CMO with frequent interaction with the executive team. Its a rare opportunity to help architect the organic growth motion of one of AI’s most important infrastructure companies.<h2>What Youll Do</h2>Developer Marketing<ul><li>Build and execute programs to reach, inspire, and enable developers globally</li><li>Lead strategy and execution for organic discovery: SEO, content, influencers, partnerships, affiliates</li><li>Drive web conversion rate optimization and funnel performance across Deepgram’s site and docs</li><li>Partner with Product, Sales, and Support to deeply understand the developer journey</li><li>Activate developer advocates and community members to extend our reach and credibility </li></ul>PLG Growth<ul><li>Own the top-of-funnel signup growth number across paid and organic sources</li><li>Develop and run growth experiments to drive conversion, activation, and expansion</li><li>Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Digital teams to test and optimize PLG levers</li><li>Ensure smooth transitions from signup → activation → sales engagement for high-potential users</li><li>Leverage data and experimentation frameworks to unlock new paths to revenue</li><li>Drive distribution through owned and earned channels </li></ul>How We Measure Success In This Role:<ul><li>Accelerated growth in Deepgram’s self-serve and inbound funnel</li><li>Increased reach and engagement from developer audiences</li><li>Measurable improvements in signup conversion, activation, and time-to-value</li><li>Compelling developer-facing brand presence across web, content, and communities</li></ul><h2>It’s Important To Us That You Have</h2><h2> Qualifications</h2><ul><li>7+ years in developer marketing, growth marketing, or product-led growth roles</li><li>Proven track record of driving bottom-up growth in a B2B or API-first company</li><li>Strong empathy for developers and familiarity with the tools they use</li><li>Ability to partner across Product, Engineering, and Sales</li><li>Deep understanding of growth loops, experimentation, and CRO</li><li>Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with small, agile teams</li><li>Creative risk-taker who thrives on building new playbooks, not repeating old ones</li><li>High energy, high motivation, high intelligence, high curiosity.
