Experience with at least one additional backend language is a plus.</li><li>Strong SQL Foundation: Comfortable working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. You’ve written complex queries, handled data migrations, and contributed to data model design.</li><li>Good Understanding of OOP and Patterns: You apply object-oriented programming principles and use common design patterns in your development workflow.</li><li>Hands-on API Development Experience: You’ve built and maintained RESTful APIs, implemented input validation, used JWT or similar authentication mechanisms, and worked with queue-based systems for async processing.</li><li>Performance-Aware: You understand the basics of concurrency, idempotency, and how to write code that scales efficiently under moderate load.</li><li>Team Contributor: 3+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer, ideally in a product-focused or startup environment.
