About the role As a Curriculum Manager - Data Science and Data Engineering, you will directly contribute to DataCamp’s mission to democratize data education by helping build the best platform to learn data and AI skills. In this role, you’ll collaborate with instructors and teams across curriculum, engineering, product, and marketing to expand and improve our Data Science and Data Engineering curriculum—helping millions worldwide upskill in data and AI. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:  <ul> <li>Manage the entire content development lifecycle and deadlines.</li> <li>Source and recruit top-tier instructors who are subject matter experts. </li> <li>Collaborate with instructors to create engaging content. </li> <li>Design, review, and create content covering data science and data engineering topics. You will review content from a learner perspective, ensuring it is technically accurate and pedagogically effective.</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams to enable content creation for more advanced technical topics. </li> <li>Continuously assess course performance using learner feedback and engagement data to drive improvements.</li> <li>Own your portion of the curriculum roadmap. </li> <li>Identify and prioritize existing curriculum gaps or new topics in data science and data engineering.</li> <li>Identify opportunities and develop AI workflows to optimize content creation and enhance quality.</li> </ul> We’re excited about you because you have the following <ul> <li>A solid technical background in Python and SQL, with proficiency in areas such as Airflow, Snowflake, and dbt. You can quickly learn new concepts in data engineering and identify what learners need to know about these concepts.</li> <li>Strong expertise in instructional design, with proven experience designing, structuring, and teaching technical courses, and creating interactive, hands-on learning experiences.</li> <li>Graduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent industry experience with hands-on expertise in data science, machine learning, or software development.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
