Because here’s the remarkable truth: When we all make together, we make all things possible.Let’s make.<h3>Job Description</h3>Please note: This is a temporary position at Cricut.Technicians play a critical role on cross functional teams by supporting the engineering team with data collection and analysis.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Autonomously perform technical work to support engineers developing materials for use in Cricut’s machine ecosystems.</li><li>Prepare test specimens, set up equipment, and perform testing or analysis following standard test procedures to assure safe practice and valid results.</li><li>Collect data utilizing various measurement devices such as scales, calipers, and universal test machines.</li><li>Perform calculations as necessary.</li><li>Prepare reports of test data and results in accordance with specified procedures.</li><li>Maintain files, logs, and records of past experiments and/or tests for future references.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe working environment, ensuring lab equipment is in acceptable order using 5S processes.</li><li>Role is 100% in-person, not eligible for hybrid or remote work</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High School Degree or equivalent</li><li>College or post-high school training preferred</li><li>Ability to understand engineering requirements, safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and maintenance instructions</li><li>Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, etc.) are required.</li><li>Basic understanding about statistical terminologies (mean, median, standard deviation, variance etc.) a plus</li><li>Experience with MS Office, especially basic functions in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude strongly preferred</li><li>Experience working in Six Sigma environment preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>What to Do Next: To receive priority consideration for this role, please adhere to the following:<ul><li>Please attach your resume including links to your portfolio where applicable.
