This is more than a compliance role; you will be a key business partner, providing critical insights that shape our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will… <ul> <li>Own the end-to-end review of complex, non-standard sales contracts to ensure revenue is recognized accurately under ASC 606</li> <li>Manage key areas of the revenue month-end close, from preparing complex journal entries and reconciliations to delivering insightful flux analysis to leadership</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying inefficiencies in the quote-to-cash process and implementing scalable best practices</li> <li>Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, preparing PBC schedules and independently addressing auditor inquiries</li> <li>Lead technical accounting research on new or unusual revenue scenarios, document findings in memos, and present conclusions to accounting leadership</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal and operations, to support the revenue process</li> <li>Prepare and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition policies and procedures </li> <li>Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management</li> <li>We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours </li> </ul> If You’ve Got It - We Want It <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or progress towards CPA certification strongly preferred </li> <li>1-2 years of public accounting experience working on public companies and 2-3 in industry performing technical revenue accounting</li> <li>A proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Experience with consumption preferred</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuite ARM</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and financial data</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines </li> <li>Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly and concisely </li> </ul> Salary Range ($83,200 - $130,056) The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location.
