We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead their continued development, ensure reliability, and drive operational excellence. You will work closely with the founding team and a group of highly-skilled engineers to shape the future of search and analytics of observability data. You will play a central role in bringing integrating cutting-edge Generative AI technologies with the Cribl Product suite to help solve real customer problems. As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will... <ul> <li>Lead a cross-functional AI product engineering team, owning strategy and execution across multiple Copilot experiences.</li> <li>Drive technical direction and product evolution for the AI stack, inference backend, and user-facing AI products.</li> <li>Oversee infrastructure, on-call rotations, and operational processes.</li> <li>Operate in a player-coach model, contributing 25–40% of your time to hands-on engineering:</li> <ul> <li>Writing evals</li> <li>Testing and debugging features</li> <li>Occasionally contributing to inference stack development</li> </ul> <li>This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties</li> </ul> If Youve Got It - We Want It <ul> <li>4–7 years of Engineering Management experience</li> <li>Recent (within 5 years) hands-on engineering experience in: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python or Go</li> <li>Background in B2B SaaS product development</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in AI/ML</li> <li>Can articulate informed opinions about current AI trends</li> <li>Experience working directly with AI products</li> <li>Strong communication skills and leadership presence in a distributed team</li> </ul> Salary Range ($235,000 - $270,000) The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location.
