This leader will be accountable for delivering quota, building a winning sales culture, and coaching the team to excel in high-velocity, consultative enterprise sales.</p><p>The Senior Manager will balance strategic vision with day-to-day sales execution setting the pace for pipeline development, fostering collaboration with Cox Business sales, and ensuring RapidScale is the go-to partner for cloud transformation. This role carries full sales quota responsibility with accountability for quarterly and annual targets.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Sales Leadership &amp; Performance</b></p><ul><li>Drive new logo acquisition and expansion opportunities through a disciplined, hunter-led sales strategy.</li><li>Lead the CSC team to consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas.</li><li>Instill rigor around pipeline development, ensuring team members maintain a 5:1 pipeline-to-quota ratio through outbound prospecting and disciplined funnel management.</li><li>Accurately forecast performance and deliver data-driven insights to senior leadership.</li><li><span>Develop and nurture relationships within AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems to generate new business and stay ahead of industry trends. </span></li><li><span>Drive cloud sales through Cox Business, indirect partners, internal business units, and industry events, optimizing various go-to-market channels. </span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Team Development &amp; Coaching</b></p><ul><li>Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales hunters with a passion for winning in the cloud space.</li><li>Provide hands-on coaching in consultative, outcome-based selling—helping CSCs master enterprise prospecting, executive engagement, and competitive positioning.</li><li>Foster a high-energy, high-accountability sales culture that rewards creativity, persistence, and results.</li><li>Build leadership bench strength by mentoring future sales leaders.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Collaboration &amp; Strategy</b></p><ul><li>Partner closely with Cox Business sales leadership to integrate cloud solutions into regional go-to-market strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing, product, and professional services to develop sales plays that strengthen RapidScale’s brand and market presence.</li><li>Leverage AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud ecosystems, as well as CB and partner channels, to drive new business opportunities.</li><li>Capture and share competitive insights to continuously sharpen go-to-market execution.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Customer &amp; Partner Engagement</b></p><ul><li>Build executive relationships with key prospects, partners, and CB stakeholders to open doors and accelerate deals.</li><li>Support sellers in high-impact customer meetings, presentations, and QBRs—leading by example in the field.</li><li>Travel up to 50% to foster team cohesion, customer engagement, and regional growth.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Minimum</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 years’ experience in IT/cloud sales; OR Master’s + 6 years; OR 12 years of directly relevant experience.</li><li>3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing enterprise sales teams.</li><li>Proven track record of hunter sales success, consistently exceeding quota in complex IT, Cloud, or Managed Services sales.</li><li>Strong expertise in pipeline creation, outbound prospecting, and enterprise deal execution.</li><li>Experience leading teams selling IT solutions (IaaS, DaaS, DRaaS, or Managed Hosting).</li><li>Skilled in “sell-with” and matrix management environments.</li><li><span>Experience selling through both indirect and direct sales organizations. </span></li></ul><p><b>Preferred</b></p><ul><li>AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.</li><li>Experience leveraging cloud provider partner programs for business development.</li><li>Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Benefits</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
