Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $144,900.00 - $241,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Product Director role will be responsible for developing, managing and optimizing our auction cosmetic inspection and imaging products and our deployment of AI within those platforms.  Proactively identifies and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the business. The role includes contributing to and managing the product roadmap, overseeing the implementation and working in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to develop products that meet the needs of our consumers and clients.

Company-wide recognized as a thought leader within Product and requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies. Integral member of the team that contributes in the development of the product and/or overall business strategy. Directs major Product lines with significant business impact within department or area and/or beyond. Provides measurable impact into new products, processes, standards and /or operational plans.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Strategy/Discovery:                                                                                           

  • Applies a business understanding to evaluate, recommend and pursue initiatives, investments, and opportunities with significant impact on organizational success.

  • Applies extensive knowledge in business, product performance and industry principles, practices, and procedures.

Planning:

  • Defines and drives execution of multiple large, complex, and business critical product lines. 

  • Monitors industry and the competition for product, technical and process changes, and advances. 

  • Drives the globalization and standardization of product-related technical and organizational processes.

  • Serves as point of authority and/or source of technical knowledge in primary discipline or technical area.

  • Routinely called upon to apply/demonstrate expertise in existing and emerging technologies, practices, and processes. 

Development:

  • Leads and maintains an effective relationship and team between Product & Development.

  • Drives collaboration with Product Owners, UX architecture and others to execute work including prototyping and testing to validate solutions; makes buy/build/partner recommendations to Agile Release Train;

  • Drives collaboration with Architecture, Technology, etc. to develop recommendations, support testing; partners with revenue and business stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and assess ROI.

Sales & Client Engagement:

  • Partners with client solutions, product readiness and marketing teams to articulate the strategies and programs that will generate awareness and leads for the upcoming fiscal period - including measurements and goals. Collaborates with the business on P&L management.        

  • Partners with Solutions Delivery, Product Management and Marketing teams to articulate forward-looking awareness generating strategies and leads.    

Evaluation:

  • Assesses product performance against KPIs and drives course corrections, end-of-life or related decisions.

Works with existing interfaces as well as integration and migration plans within own area and across aligned/associated areas.   • Technology Savvy – Advanced knowledge of technology and its ability to improve work processes and results (e.g., enhance productivity, efficiency, collaboration, quality, or customer satisfaction). Education, experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a masters degree and 8 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years’ experience in a related field; or 14 years’ experience in a related field

  • Deep knowledge of SAFe Agile Methodology.

  • Extensive experience in design, development and implementation of product plans.

  • Extensive experience in full product lifecycle methodologies.

  • Extensive experience in creating, prioritizing and recommending epics and features.

  • Extensive experience in in conducting competitive research and analysis.

  • Extensive experience in identifying KPIs and other analytics to measure product value.

  • Extensive experience with executive presentations and communications.

  • Experience serving in an executive leadership role as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, and complex team environment.
