One employee only plan could be FREE, if you participate in our health screening program.</p><p>· At Cox, we believe in being transparent – please click on the link (Cox Benefits Overview) to learn more about our awesome healthcare benefits.</p><p>· 10 days of free child or senior care through your complimentary Care.com membership.</p><p>· Generous 401(k) retirement plans with up to 6% company match.</p><p>· Flexible work schedules.</p><p>· Great coworkers who love being part of a team.</p><p>· Employee discounts on hundreds of items, from cars to computers to continuing education.</p><p></p><p></p><p>What You’ll Do</p><p></p><p>· Ensure vehicles are repaired and painted to meet Manheim’s standards and customer or account requirements.</p><p>· Purchase equipment, materials and supplies for the shop and oversee maintenance and protection of shop equipment.</p><p>· Maintain and develop staff by recruiting and training employees and providing educational opportunities.</p><p>· Prepare estimates for collision repair, lot damage, transport damage, etc.</p><p>· Review work volumes, planning and continuously monitoring staffing levels.</p><p>· Set an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensure that all employees are treated with respect.</p><p>· Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.</p><p>· Partner with various market level support teams to ensure effective and efficient operational processes.</p><p>· Oversee the quality control of vehicles.</p><p>· Communicate and resolve reconditioning goals.</p><p>· Measure process efficiency and effectiveness and implement improvement strategies.</p><p>· Manage Mechanics completing detailed inspections, preparing reconditioning estimates and completing repairs.</p><p>· Oversee sublet vendor partnerships in the Body Shop and Detail department. </p><p>· Complete minor to complex diagnoses and repairs to all vehicle systems.</p><p>· Handle and dispose of all fluids in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations.</p><p>· Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance. </p><p>· Evaluate job performances and conduct performance appraisals.</p><p>· Direct staff to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy in their repair work.</p><p>· Approve and forward bills to the appropriate personnel to ensure accurate billing.</p><p>· Assist in counseling employees, monitoring and evaluating employee job performance, and conducting performance appraisals.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Who You Are</p><p></p><p>You know how to handle people. You’ll also need the following credentials:</p><p></p><p>Minimum:</p><p>· BA/BS degree and 6+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.</p><p>· At least 1 year experience in a management or lead role.</p><p>· Good communication and interaction skills.</p><p>· Good management and organizational skills.</p><p>· Ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)</p><p>· Must have a Valid drivers license and meet Cox Mobility minimum driving qualification standards.</p><p>Preferred:</p><p></p><p>· Knowledge of federal/state laws and regulations regarding OSHA, EPA, and MSDS.</p><p>· ASE certification automotive body repair or reconditioning is preferred.</p><p>· Diesel and transmission experience.</p><p>· Industry certifications such as electrical and A/C.</p><p>· OEM mechanical certification preferred.</p><p></p><p>Bring your one-of-a-kind leadership skills to a one-of-a-kind workplace.
