Your work will be central to repositioning our brand and solutions narrative for business outcomes.</p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in B2B hybrid cloud services / professional services or SaaS, a passion for creating scalable solutions / product marketing engines, and a proven ability to align messaging, enablement, and strategy to business results. A key area of focus will be scaling RapidScale’s hybrid cloud story and developing frameworks that support repeatable, high-velocity go-to-market execution across solution plays. This leader will architect the foundational structure, processes, and team required to move RapidScale from feature-focused messaging to a value-driven, outcomes-oriented approach that resonates with enterprise decision makers.</p><p></p><p><b>Success in this role will be measured by:</b></p><ul><li>Increased win rates and deal velocity in enterprise segments</li><li>Improved sales readiness and content utilization</li><li>Clear, differentiated messaging used consistently across marketing and sales channels</li><li>Accelerated ramp-up of new offers and go-to-market motions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Strategic Impact and Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Partner with GTM leadership (Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Product, Delivery) to define and evangelize a unified go-to-market strategy that elevates RapidScale’s relevance in the mid-market to enterprise space</li><li>Drive a shift from transactional, feature-led selling to insight-led marketing that speaks to CIOs, CFOs, and business unit leaders</li><li>Establish a repeatable framework for value proposition design, segment differentiation, and vertical storytelling</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Build and Scale Solutions Marketing Function</b></p><ul><li>Define the vision, charter, and roadmap for the Solutions Marketing team in alignment with evolving business needs.</li><li>Develop career paths and mentorship models to grow a high-performing team with specialization across solution areas, industries, and buyer personas.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution</b></p><ul><li>Lead product positioning and messaging frameworks focused on business value, not technical features</li><li>Drive the creation of content and collateral that supports the full buyer journey, including solution briefs, customer stories, presentations, and battle card</li><li>Establish and manage the launch process for new offers and feature enhancements</li><li>Act as the marketing lead in cross-functional go-to-market initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Product, Delivery, and Customer Success</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sales Enablement</b></p><ul><li>Build and contribute to scalable sales enablement programs that improve sales readiness, win rates, and deal velocity</li><li>Partner closely with Sales leadership to define enablement priorities, develop training materials, and deliver field-facing resources</li><li>Understand the sales cycle, including how customers consume technology and how Sales operates, with the ability to generate proposal outlines for POC with pre-defined success criteria that support to the solution-sales lifecycle</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Hybrid Cloud Story Development</b></p><ul><li>Play a pivotal role in the development and evolution of RapidScale’s hybrid cloud positioning</li><li>Collaborate with Product and Solution Architects to translate technical capabilities into differentiated, outcome-focused narratives</li><li>Enable field teams to clearly articulate the hybrid cloud value proposition across buyer personas</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Customer and Market Alignment</b></p><ul><li>Lead persona and segment research to deepen understanding of buying triggers, challenges, and decision criteria in target industries</li><li>Use customer data, win/loss insights, and market analysis to continuously refine positioning and messaging</li><li>Build a systematic approach to gathering customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence</li><li>Translate market data into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing</li><li>Participate and/or listen in on customer calls, with a bias toward action and the intent to generate more effective messaging internally and externally, moving customers out of education mode to solution consumption and socialization more effectively</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience in a related field.
