Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Job Description</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p>The Business Intelligence Manager is hands-on analytics professional responsible for delivering insights, reporting, and dashboards that enable operational success across Manheim auctions and strategic initiatives. This role partners with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and associated data, then translates those into actionable metrics and intuitive visualizations. In addition to building and maintaining dashboards, the Business Intelligence Manager provides analytical support, serves as a subject matter expert, and represents the perspective of insights and reporting with corporate partners.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Translate business needs into metrics and reporting elements by converting qualitative requirements into measurable KPIs and actionable insights.</li><li>Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using best practices for usability, performance, and accessibility across diverse audiences.</li><li>Integrate and analyze multiple data sources to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely insights that support decision-making.</li><li>Communicate findings effectively through clear presentations and visual storytelling for stakeholders, including executive leadership.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data definitions, and training materials to support both business users and technology partners.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to share expertise, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement in analytics and reporting.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)</li><li>5+ years of relevant analytical experience, ideally in a complex or automotive-related environment</li><li>Proven analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify business drivers</li><li>Advanced SQL proficiency and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake</li><li>Hands-on experience with Tableau for building visually compelling dashboards and reports</li><li>Experience with analytic tools such as Alteryx, Dataiku, or Python for data preparation and automation</li><li>Strong business acumen and ability to understand the interrelated impacts of business decisions</li><li>Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and communicate insights effectively across all levels, including executives</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment</li><li>History of leveraging analytics to inform strategy and influence executive decision-making</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>Familiarity with Tableau administration and governance best practices</li><li>Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with a track record of sharing best practices</li></ul><p></p><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Drug Testing</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
