Your contributions will help expand our legacy of excellence.</p><p><b>Key responsibilities include:</b></p><ul><li><b>Direct Sales Execution &amp; Pipeline Development:</b> Use your hunting skills and direct sales expertise to develop net-new pipeline, drive outbound prospecting, and convert qualified opportunities into closed business across cloud operations and consulting services.</li><li><b>Sales Performance &amp; Revenue Growth:</b> Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, leveraging a competitive commission plan and a strong sales funnel.</li><li><b>Pipeline &amp; Deal Management:</b> Build and manage a robust enterprise pipeline, driving opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle while maintaining a <b>5:1 funnel-to-quota ratio</b>.</li><li><b>Cloud Ecosystem &amp; Strategic Partnerships:</b> Develop and nurture relationships within AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems to generate new business and stay ahead of industry trends.</li><li><b>Multi-Channel Sales Execution:</b> Drive cloud and professional services sales through Cox Business, indirect partners, internal business units, and industry events, optimizing various go-to-market channels.</li><li><b>Consultative &amp; Value-Based Selling:</b> Identify client needs, propose tailored hybrid cloud and IT transformation solutions, and articulate the business value of RapidScale’s offerings through a consultative, outcome-based sales approach.</li><li><b>CRM &amp; Data-Driven Insights:</b> Utilize Salesforce to track prospects, manage opportunities, and provide actionable business insights to improve forecasting and strategy.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Negotiation:</b> Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, professional services, customer success) to ensure seamless service delivery while leading contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.</li><li><b>Industry &amp; Competitive Awareness:</b> Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.</li></ul><div></div><p><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><b>Education &amp; Experience:</b> A Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of Sales experience, OR a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience, OR a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, OR 10 years of experience without a degree.</li><li><b>Hunter Sales Mentality:</b> Proven success building pipeline through outbound activity, hunting for net-new logos, and driving complex enterprise IT or cloud deals to closure.</li><li><b>IT Sales Expertise:</b> Experience selling IT, cloud, or managed services solutions to decision-makers at all levels, with a strong record in new business acquisition and value-based selling.</li><li><b>Channel &amp; Direct Sales:</b> Experience selling through both indirect and direct sales organizations.</li><li><b>Work Travel:</b> Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time, depending on location, for customer meetings, presentations, QBRs, and industry events.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud</li><li>Experience leveraging AWS and/or GCP partner programs for business development</li><li>Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, SaaS, or E-Commerce is highly desirable</li></ul><p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Benefits</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
