The Role

We are recruiting for a Senior Technical Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. Based at our Eight Mile Plains office and reporting to the Manager, Professional Services, you will combine your technical and project management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of our Veterinary Practice Management Solutions to our vet clinic customers.
Your responsibilities will include –
- Working closely with our technical services, support, customer success and Implementation teams around any technical consultation required on a customer project or task.
- Determining the best methodology to deliver complex technical projects or tasks and enhance mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Being actively involved in project planning, estimating timelines, and managing the technical aspects of project execution.
- Troubleshooting technical challenges, issues or escalations arising from the Support team.
- Maintaining qualitative and quantitative data on team performance and reporting on a regular basis.
About You
Ideally you will display –
- Relevant tertiary or Tafe qualifications in Information Technology, coupled with a demonstrated experience in technical helpdesk/desktop support.
- Technical skills in software and hardware infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot escalated Level 2 and Level 3 technical support issues.
- Demonstrated experience with both traditional client-server systems and modern SaaS solutions based around Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with a SaaS, subscription service model within a B2B market will be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of security principles related to SaaS and client-server environments, including data encryption, access control, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with security compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) is advantageous.
- Well-developed communication skills to communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders as well as external customers.
