<div><b>The Impact of a Lead Software Engineer, Cloud at Coupa:</b></div><h3>What Youll Do: </h3><ul><li>Being a hands-on contributor is a key responsibility in this role</li><li>Design, develop, maintain, and scale Coupa’s platform systems and services</li><li>Participate in operational design and code review</li><li>Architect and develop reusable microservices and other Platform components</li><li>Develop frameworks for standardizing and enabling data flows via APIs, files, message queues</li><li>Advocate best practices (unit/automation testing, code reviews, code quality, etc.)</li><li>Engage with other teams to make platform components simpler to deploy and operate</li><li>A good team player, works and communicates well with others</li><li>Find creative, elegant and maintainable solutions to complex problems</li><li>Continually look for opportunities to improve our platform, process and business</li><li>Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Product Management team</li></ul><h3>What You Will Bring to Coupa: </h3><ul><li>Minimum of 10+ years of software development experience</li><li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer</li><li>Expertise in one or more of the following programming languages: Ruby, Go</li><li>Proven understanding of software development best practices and design patterns</li><li>Experience with RESTful API development using Java / Golang / SpringBoot</li><li>Experience with modern MVC web framework, Rails highly preferred</li><li>Experience with building micro services in languages like Golang or Java</li><li>Experience with cloud native architecture and technologies like Kubernetes, EC2 etc.</li><li>Experience working in an agile environment that follows Scrum or other agile methodologies</li><li>Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Redis, MongoDB</li><li>Self-motivated, go-getter, passion for learning, strong communication skills</li><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience managing and enhancing CI/CD pipeline software/tools, such as Jenkins</li><li>Experience with Docker</li><li>Experience with Amazon AWS, EC2, or similar elastic cloud environments</li><li>Open source project contributions, especially in Go</li><li>Experience running Cloud Platforms in a SaaS environment</li></ul>
