Come join our mission.</p></div><p>As a <strong>Senior Mobile Developer,</strong> you’ll be leading the design and development of tools, frameworks, sample applications, documentation, guided tours, videos, blogs, and tutorials to ease the use of Couchbase for developers and customers. You will play a key role in enhancing the Couchbase developer experience. </p> <p> </p> <h2>Required Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>5-10 years of experience in mobile development, with solid experience in <strong>Swift and Kotlin (Mandatory).</strong></li> <li>Expertise in native mobile app development both on Android and iOS</li> <li>Must be well-versed in C and <strong>Javascript.</strong></li> <li>Experience in building mobile apps in one of the popular mobile frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Android Activities/Fragments, Jetpack Compose, Xamarin, .NET Maui, Flutter, <strong>React Native</strong>)</li> <li>BS Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 - 5 years of related experience</li> <li>Understanding mobile architecture and software design patterns (Repository, MVVM, MVI, Bloc, etc.)</li> <li>Solid knowledge of source control (git) and GitHub</li> <li>Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)</li> <li>Understanding of API/Web Services</li> <li>Experience writing Unit, Integration, and Function tests using platform-specific frameworks<br /><br /></li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Mobile cross-platform development experience</li> <li>Complete software development life cycle (SDLC) to include design, coding, code reviews, unit tests, and documentation using SCRUM agile process</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and Database as a Service/DBaaS hosted on Cloud environments.</li> <li>Understanding of basic DevOps principles and automation using GitHub Actions</li> <li>Good understanding of software security considerations both at development and runtime – SAML, OAuth, OpenId, PKI, and Encryption, especially in a Cloud environment</li> <li><strong>This is a Remote position, and we are open to candidates who are willing to work from the Bangalore office 3 days a week.</strong></li> </ul><div><div> <div> <p>At Couchbase, we believe innovation thrives when diverse perspectives are at the table.
