Position Overview

At CoSchedule, you will be a software engineer helping reimagine the future of marketing productivity. You’ll join a collaborative and curious team focused on building cutting-edge tools that help marketers stay organized, efficient, and ahead of the curve. We’re not just building software—we’re exploring how AI, large language models (LLMs), and intelligent agents can augment and transform the way marketers work.


You’ll work alongside some of the region’s most talented engineers, designers, and product thinkers. As a core member of our multidisciplinary product teams, you’ll help build both the back-end and front-end systems, while collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and company leadership.


Job Requirements

  • Write code primarily in JavaScript, integrating AWS infrastructure and CoSchedule’s suite of SaaS products.
  • Explore, prototype, and implement AI/LLM-driven features and agent-based systems to enhance user workflows.
  • Contribute to technical plans and architecture discussions with a focus on scalability, performance, and emerging technologies.
  • Integrate with new and existing APIs, including third-party AI tools and services.
  • Collaborate directly with product designers to shape user-centric experiences.
  • Write and maintain GraphQL queries and mutations.
  • Conduct thoughtful and constructive code reviews.
  • Ship high-quality code frequently and reliably.
  • Write tests to ensure software quality and stability.


Remote Location Requirement

  • Maintain a permanent address in either the state of North Dakota or Minnesota
  • Maintain a productive and distraction free home workspace
  • Your workspace is a dedicated space to conduct your work
  • Ability to meet company standard wifi requirements


The “That’d Be Great”

  • Education or experience in Computer Science (or related field), with a preference for those who’ve worked on SaaS products.
  • Strong curiosity and motivation to explore emerging technologies—especially in AI, LLMs, and autonomous agents.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages (JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.). Experience with AI/ML libraries or tools is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team setting.
  • Experience building and consuming APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning.

  • Front-end applications built with ReactJS, NextJS, and EmberJS.
  • Back-end APIs built with NodeJS.
  • We are currently evolving our architecture to adopt GraphQL APIs to represent our data model.
  • We host our services on Amazon Web Services and use services like RDS, Aurora, S3, Cloudfront, and Lambda.
  • WordPress plugins that enable our users to have better integration with CoSchedule Products
  • End to End testing with CypressJS.
  • (Emerging) Integration with AI tools, LLM APIs, and agent frameworks.
