This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the global tax strategy of a high-growth, asset-intensive, public technology company delivering infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS). The role will be instrumental in driving timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, and insight across our income tax lifecycle while partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Finance, Legal, and Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a tax function that spans complex international structures, capital-intensive deployments, and rapidly evolving regulatory environments. About The Role: You will own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision process, manage U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance, and lead tax forecasting and planning activities. You will be responsible for interpreting tax technical issues, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting cross-border tax operations, and helping drive strategic decisions — including those involving M&amp;A and transfer pricing. Success in this role requires strong technical tax expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and an aptitude for process improvement in a fast-paced public company environment. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions (FIN 48), and effective tax rate analysis.</li> <li>Oversee corporate income tax compliance for U.S. federal and state jurisdictions, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed.</li> <li>Develop and manage forecasting for tax expense and cash taxes, collaborating with FP&amp;A and other finance teams. Support M&amp;A activities, including tax due diligence, structuring, and post-acquisition integration. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation.
