Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. Youre a disciplined professional who consistently delivers high-quality code, communicates technical solutions with clarity and empathy, and takes the initiative to streamline processes for your team and yourself.</p><h3>About the Position</h3><p>As an Integration Engineer on the Prospect Data Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in proving how Constructor will enhance the product discovery experiences for our future customers. You’ll work closely with prospective clients to seamlessly integrate their data with our services, supporting them in creating optimized and accurate product discovery demos.</p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Fuel our AI models: Develop and maintain JavaScript code to gather training data for our AI systems.</li><li>Seal the deal: Collaborate with Data Analysts and Account Executives to secure deals with prominent e-commerce brands.</li><li>Flex those ETL muscles: Use ETL processes to transform and ingest prospect data, enabling powerful show, dont tell demos that showcase our services’ capabilities.</li><li>Be a part of the answer: Serve as a technical resource, addressing prospect questions and troubleshooting service-related inquiries.</li><li>Master the data: Verify the accuracy and quality of the catalog data and behavioral events delivered through our platform.</li><li>Elevate the team: Conduct in-depth code reviews, offering constructive feedback to teammates to uphold code quality.</li><li>Scale mountains (of data): Design and implement scalable live data collection services and utilities to automate and streamline the management of prospective customers datasets.</li><li>Collaborative contribution: Work across teams to prioritize and address evolving prospect needs and contribute to open-source projects, such as our  repository.</li><li>Champion team culture: Actively foster our team’s sense of community by expanding our roster of Friday team-building games and promoting a culture of empathy, personal growth, and support for others.</li></ul><p>This role is ideal for an Integration Engineer passionate about search technology, customer-focused solutions, and collaborative development.</p><ul><li>Strong foundation and experience with server-side and client-side JavaScript</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><ul><li>English on B2 or higher</li></ul><li>Being able to attend regular meetings with Americas-based teammates between 2 and 6 pm UTC</li><li>Comfortable interacting with stakeholders and solving new problems daily</li><li>Able to pick up new technologies and design patterns quickly and enjoys learning them</li><li>Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS</li><li>Nice to have:</li><ul><li>TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook, Python and web scraping experience, React, Automated Testing (Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library), Nest.js, AWS (S3, ECS, ElastiCache)</li><li>Four plus years of relevant experience, academic or professional</li></ul></ul>
