One Data Streaming Platform.Data Connects Us.About the Role:As a member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Enterprise Account Executive, Digital Native is responsible for selling Confluent solutions to large enterprises. We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively sell Confluent offerings to leading companies to meet and exceed your quarterly sales target. You must possess a hunter/closer mentality with a proven track record of success within a value-driven sales model.    What You Will Do:<ul><li>Responsible for driving revenue growth for large, diverse, complex territories</li><li>Proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline</li><li>Own the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition</li><li>Ability to understand and sell to or through the partner ecosystem </li><li>Partner with Solutions Engineers &amp; Professional Services to ensure customer success</li><li>Own the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in business development, customer success, and support</li><li>Become a subject matter expert on all Confluent offerings and competitive landscape </li><li>Present to C-levels (as required) the entire suite of product applications to negotiate and close deals</li><li>Create and nurture customer relationships, opportunities, and partners that lead to growth opportunities</li><li>Travels to customer sites to identify/develop sales opportunities when required</li></ul>What You Will Bring:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles in a competitive market </li><li>Prior experience in Big Data, Consumption,  Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions</li><li>Previous sales methodology training (i.e. MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.) </li><li>Previous experience in leading, driving, and executing a strategic sales strategy and driving revenue growth </li><li>Consistent track record of success and history of overachieving and hitting quota attainment </li><li>Exceptional communication skills - written and oral including outstanding presentation skills</li><li>Exceptional time management skills</li><li>High integrity, intelligence, self-driven, and team player</li><li>Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills</li><li>Open to Travel to customer locations as needed</li><li>BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred</li></ul> Come As You AreAt Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $109,100 - $128,250, a competitive equity package and is also eligible for additional commission and/or bonus pay.
