We are a remote-first company with offices in New York City (USA) and Tel Aviv (Israel).</div>About the Position: Comet is seeking a visionary Design Team Lead to join our Product team. In this role, youll report directly to our Head of Product and play a key role in shaping the UI/UX direction of our platform. You’ll have the unique opportunity to both lead and inspire a team of talented UI/UX designers, while remaining hands-on, bringing your own ideas to life. This position is only open to candidates located in Europe (Remote) or Israel (Hybrid). Key responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead a design team working on a suite of tools that enable Data Scientists and Developers to evaluate and improve their AI applications faster</li> <li>Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to deliver intuitive scalable interfaces for technical users</li> <li>Contribute to the UI/UX work as needed while also supporting and guiding the broader  UI/UX team, this is a hands-on leadership role</li> <li>Inspire and motivate the team to do their best work while creating a clear UI/UX vision that aligns with Comet’s goals</li> <li>Advocate for UI/UX excellence at every stage of the product lifecycle, balancing speed, quality and experimentation</li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in UI/UX for technical users such as Data Scientists, Developers, or ML Engineers </li> <li>1+ years of people management experience</li> <li>Confident in scaling UI/UX teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments</li> <li>User-first mindset and a strong track record of turning complex workflows into clear, intuitive UI/UX solutions</li> <li>Proven experience leading UI/UX efforts across cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to drive outcomes</li> <li>Familiarity with Figma, JIRA and Github</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills, using storytelling to clarify complex problems and inspire teams</li> <li>Comfortable navigating ambiguity and skilled at finding the right balance between quality, speed, and experimentation</li> <li>Experience building products for Data Scientists or working in the Machine Learning space is a strong plus</li> <li>Experience working on Open-Source products is a strong plus</li> <li>You will be required to create high-fidelity mockups for the engineering team</li> </ul> What we offer: <ul> <li>Competitive base salary, based on proven experience, skills and location</li> <li>Competitive benefits package</li> <li>Flexible working hours and Hybride/remote work options</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development</li> <li>A collaborative and innovative work environment</li> <li>The chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and projects</li> <li>This role will be located in Israel or Europe, working with a global team (large presence in the US, Tel Aviv and Europe), some flexibility with work hours is required</li> </ul>   <div>  Comet is an equal-opportunity employer.
