We are a remote-first company with offices in New York City (USA) and Tel Aviv (Israel).</p></div><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable <strong>HR Operations / Executive Assistant for </strong>a <strong>3-month maternity leave cover</strong> to support our HR team (80%) and CEO (20%). This role is full time and will report to the Chief of Staff.</p> <p>While this role is initially for <strong>3-month’s coverage</strong>, there is strong potential for it to transition into a <strong>full-time HR Operations position</strong> based on performance and organizational needs.</p> <p>The position combines administrative excellence with HR operational support, ensuring smooth day-to-day processes while providing high-level executive assistance. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and enjoys working on a wide variety of tasks.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p><strong>HR Operations Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, and role changes.</li> <li>Maintain and update HRIS system (Rippling) with a high degree of accuracy.</li> <li>Support benefits administration, leave management, and employee inquiries.</li> <li>Ensure compliance by maintaining personnel files, auditing documentation, and assisting with policy updates.</li> <li>Coordinate HR programs such as training, engagement initiatives, and wellness activities.</li> <li>Plan and manage logistics for team off-sites and company events, including venue selection, vendor management, and budget tracking.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Executive Assistant Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage complex calendars, meeting schedules, and travel arrangements for the CEO.</li> <li>Handle travel arrangements, expense reports, and reimbursements.<br /><br /></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in HR operations, executive assistance, or related roles.</li> <li>Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.</li> <li>Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GMail); experience with HRIS and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Navan, Rippling) preferred.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, able to work effectively with diverse groups and backgrounds.</li> <li>High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work collaboratively across teams.</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join Comet</strong></h3> <ul> <li>This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in both HR operations and executive support, working closely with leaders to make a real impact during a critical period.
