You will have the ability to manage a portfolio of customers and contribute significantly to the organization. Your impact will be felt from the brand to the bottom line. What youll do:  <ul> <li>Understand our clients’ financial background, financial goals, and help our team identify optimization opportunities.</li> <li>Minimal client facing responsibilities. </li> <li>Review, deliver, sign, and file member’s business tax returns. </li> <li>Consistently deliver high-quality results that align with both project requirements and organizational objectives while upholding Federal and State compliance requirements.</li> <li>Support our team of tax professionals assisting with their day to day tasks ensuring their continuous growth.</li> <li>Mentor, train and provide feedback to junior tax staff on the team. </li> <li>Balance immediate project needs with the broader, long-term goals of the organization, ensuring tactical actions support strategic direction.</li> <li>Effectively communicate updates or changes to clients and internally across the organization facilitating understanding and engagement across diverse audiences.</li> <li>Research and analyze tax laws, regulations, and policies to produce comprehensive and accurate technical memos. Present findings and recommendations in a professional manner to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.</li> <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and their impact on the organization’s compliance requirements.</li> <li>Assist in developing strategies for optimizing the company’s overall tax posture, while maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws.</li> <li>Collaborate with legal and other departments to ensure alignment on tax-related matters and to address complex issues.</li> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert on tax-related matters and be a point of contact for colleagues across the organization seeking advice or clarification.</li> <li>Prepare periodic reports on tax compliance status, potential risks, and opportunities for senior management.</li> </ul> What youll bring: <ul> <li>CPA or Enrolled Agent and 5+ years of hands-on experience with S corporations.</li> <li>Prior experience with signing tax returns.</li> <li>Experience working with self-employed/small businesses (less than $1M revenue).</li> <li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain tax technical matters and ability to build trust with self-employed professionals of all types. </li> <li>Tech-savvy - needs to be very familiar or capable of learning and teaching tools quickly. </li> <li>Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional workstreams. </li> <li>Experience with using Go Systems (or other tax softwares), QBO, Gusto, Salesforce, G Suite.</li> </ul> What we offer: <ul> <li>Remote-Friendly Environment: Flexibility to work from home while staying connected to the team</li> <li>Health &amp; Wellness: $200 quarterly reimbursement to support your well-being</li> <li>Time Off: Flexible PTO plus 14 company holidays</li> <li>Comprehensive Coverage: 100% medical, dental, and vision for employees; 75% coverage for dependents</li> <li>Parental Leave: 16 weeks fully paid</li> <li>Retirement &amp; Ownership: 401k plan plus an equity package</li> <li>Team Connection: Quarterly virtual events and an annual in-person summit</li> <li>Compensation Range: $78,000 to $90,000</li> </ul> We provide salary ranges for each role to give you a transparent view of potential compensation.
