They manage student projects in industry-informed, intermediate-level courses that prepare students for software engineering internships and technical interviews. Students will build the core professional skills needed to succeed in the tech industry. To learn more, check out information on the program <a href="https://www.codepath.org/ctex">here</a>.   About the Course Introduction to Software Engineering with GenAI focuses on teaching software engineering skills to be able to build an app from scratch and deploy it. This is a project-based course where students work collaboratively on projects with their peers and mentors. There is a key focus on the holistic software development experience while utilizing software engineering principles and cloud frameworks.   What We Are Looking For 12 Part-Time Adjunct Project Coaches that lead their own student group. <ul> <li>There is no predetermined live meeting schedule for this role, Project Coaches will work with their student groups to determine the best times to meet</li> </ul> We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience who are passionate about mentorship, eager to immerse themselves in a virtual academic setting, and excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. To thrive in this role, you should be a dynamic and inspiring technical expert with a commitment to inclusive education, strong classroom leadership skills, and a deep passion for empowering students.   Key Responsibilities <ul> <li> Training &amp; Development: Complete 20 hours of sync training sessions + async training tasks through the second half of November to build proficiency with CodePath’s teaching tools and instructional strategies before the semester begins (Exact training schedules to be published soon) </li> <li> Long-Term Project Support: Manage the full-stack web development projects for up to 5 students and successfully guide them to completion by showcasing industry-standard best practices in soft skills and technical skills </li> <li> Office Hours &amp; Labs: Hold regular virtual office hours and actively encourage student participation during lab sections </li> <li> Grading: Ensure all assignments and deliverables are graded in a timely manner to provide constant student feedback  </li> <li> Career Empowerment &amp; Mentorship: Coach collaboration, communication, and conflict resolution in team settings by sharing insights into how engineers partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders in professional settings </li> <li> Feedback: Share timely feedback with the CTEx program team about the student experience and program effectiveness overall </li> </ul>   Minimum Qualifications <ul> <li> 3+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering using Full-Stack Web Development technologies such as HTML, CSS, Python, Flask, BigQuery and Docker </li> <li> Availability from January 2026 through June 2026 and commitment to the listed course schedule and time requirements above </li> <li> Available to complete 20 hours of sync and async training sessions/tasks throughout mid-November through mid-December to be fully prepared for program launch </li> <li> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science </li> <li> Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity </li> <li> Demonstrated passion for teaching and prior experience experience leading classrooms </li> </ul>   Preferred Qualifications  <ul> <li> Experience mentoring or managing junior developers </li> <li> Prior experience with project management and career mentorship </li> <li> Prior experience utilizing GenAI in academic or professional settings </li> </ul>   Contact: Please reach out to recruiting@codepath.org with any questions.<div><div><div>Pay range</div><div>$5,250—$7,875 USD</div></div></div>
