Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue and Finance Operations is a key role in the finance organization, reporting to the Director, Finance. This role will manage the entire end-to-end global process for revenues, driving accuracy, data quality, and efficiency across the Order-to-Collect and Record-to-Report cycles. You will help guide the business to bring best practices to our processing, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities, and will work across all levels of the organization, partnering with the business to provide reporting and insights that contribute to continuously improving data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage global end-to-end revenue processes (Order-to-Collect and Record-to-Report), ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other accounting standards.
  • Lead monthly close activities for revenue and commissions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis vs. forecasts and budgets.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Compliance teams to review complex contracts, provide technical revenue guidance, and support enterprise customer onboarding.
  • Maintain and evolve revenue recognition policies, ensuring accurate treatment of new products and contracts; act as the main point of contact for external audit support related to revenue.
  • Support revenue forecasting and internal reporting, collaborating closely with the Director of Finance to improve planning accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across revenue operations, finance systems, and reporting tools to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Active CPA license (U.S. or international equivalent such as CA, ACA, or ACCA), with exam passed.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience, including at least 2 years at a public accounting firm (Big Four preferred), with exposure to revenue accounting and/or audit of SaaS/software clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition principles under U.S. GAAP (ASC 606) or IFRS, including experience interpreting complex contract terms.
  • Strong financial systems and Excel skills, with the ability to create models and automate manual processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
