Together, you and your exceptional team will have the chance to play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch web security. Work is fully remote so you can work from anywhere.Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Managing the Web Protection Team (Security Engineers &amp; Researchers).</li> <li>Guiding the team by example and leading technical planning.</li> <li>Reviewing code and team deliverables while supervising new releases.</li> <li>Monitoring data from servers and improving existing Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules.</li> <li>Driving new research and experiments on Web Attacks and Bot Protection.</li> <li>Helping the team mature the existing codebase written in Python.</li> </ul>We are looking for someone who has:<ul> <li>BSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a similar field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience as a Team Lead.</li> <li>Experience in Python, including building prototypes or security automation.</li> <li>A deep understanding of Web Security, Network Security, and Bot Protection.</li> <li>Knowledge of SQL queries.</li> <li>Fluency in English (upper-intermediate level or higher).</li> </ul>Nice to have:<ul> <li> Understanding of web hosting environments.</li> <li> Understanding of the Linux command line.</li> <li> Knowledge of ModSec, OSSEC, and/or regular expression syntax for security rules.</li> <li> Familiarity with hosting control panels (cPanel, DirectAdmin, etc.) and/or content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, etc.).</li> </ul>Personal skills:<ul> <li> Fast learner, proactive.</li> <li> Strong self-motivation, driven to achieve committed milestones.</li> <li> Strong prioritization skills and a flexible mindset.</li> <li> Ability to independently analyze a task and find the right solution.</li> <li> Ability to work with vague requirements and make independent decisions.</li> <li> Ability to work in a team and lead.</li> </ul>
