Additionally, we engage with other cloud teams to drive continuous improvements in cloud infrastructure for enhanced performance and scalability.</p> </div> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Build a cutting-edge Cloud Native platform on top of the public cloud</li> <li>Work on distributed systems such as ClickHouse servers, keepers, and caches</li> <li>Improve these systems to maximize performance for customers through auto-scaling</li> <li>Collaborate closely with our ClickHouse core development team and other data plane teams</li> <li>Architect and build robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure</li> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems</li> <li>Proven experience writing business-critical, production-level distributed systems software (in Go, C++, or similar languages such as Rust)</li> <li>Skilled in benchmarking, testing, profiling, tuning, and scaling, with hands-on experience in low-level performance optimization for databases and cloud systems</li> <li>Experience building services and deploying them on Kubernetes</li> <li>Strong knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams</li> </ul><div><div><div>The typical starting salary for this role in the US is</div><div><span>$133,450</span><span>—</span><span>$197,200 USD</span></div></div><div><div>The typical starting salary for this role in US Premium Markets is</div><div><span>$157,000</span><span>—</span><span>$232,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div><h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3> <p><span>For roles based in the <strong>United States</strong>, t</span>he typical starting salary range for this position is listed above.
