Software Engineer

We are looking for a ‘Software Engineer(React)’ to join our Technology team at Clarivate. He/She would be responsible for the develop React based front-end application. This would be an amazing opportunity to work in Life Sciences & Healthcare domain.

We are working on different tools and technologies like React, and if the candidates additionally having experience is plus in Ruby on Rails,  Python,  HTML5, Web API, SQL and JavaScript etc.  Preferable experience in JavaScript and React

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our LS&H Commercial team in Bengaluru.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• At least 2+ years relevant experience
• At least 2+ years of JavaScript development experience
• At least 2+ years of experience in Node, React or Angular
• 1+ years’ experience with API development 
• Strong English language verbal and written skills, to collaborate with cross-functional teams  
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

It would be great if you also have . . .

• Experience with cloud development and AWS
• Experience developing web applications and services
• Experience with relational databases and database design using PostgreSQL. 
• Experience developing in a Linux or Windows environment

What will you be doing in this role?   

• Software Engineer is responsible for guiding development practices, team building, and developing software in a collaborative environment employing Agile development methodologies and helping design and build our entire user experience.  
• Contribute materially to team efforts to design, build, test, and support new and existing applications in an agile environment. 
• Assist team efforts with the identification, design, and implementation of solutions for new features and software defects. 
• Produces high-quality and on-time deliverables according to planned project goals. 
• Mentor less experienced team members

The existing team is spread across India/USA and includes team members with strong technical and analytical skills. You would be part of a large team responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of LS&H (Life Sciences & Healthcare).

Hours of Work

This is a permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone 9 hours of work per day (12 pm – 9 pm IST) including 1-hour lunch break. We have hybrid work model, flexible and employee friendly work environment.
