Lead Accountant India - Hyderabad

We are looking for a Senior Accountant/Accountant to join our People cost accounting team in Hyderabad/Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Global Payroll accounting, general ledger accounting. The team consists of 10 PEOPLE and is reporting to the Senior Manager – People cost accounting. We have a great skill set in handling payroll accounting spanning across all regions in the world and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Global accounting, Pension, Payroll process, USGAAP, IFRS, Flux analysis, OneStream, and NetSuite.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   

• Work experience (At least 4 years of experience in Global Accounting) 
• Knowledge, skills, or abilities (Proven experience in Payroll accounting, General ledger accounting, reconciliation, and exposure in MNC’s.) 
• Tech Stack - Accounting in ERP’s (NetSuite, Oracle etc.), Blackline reconciliation and Analysis tools (onstream, Hyperion etc.)
• Education (master’s degree in commerce or related degree or at least 2 years of equivalent relevant experience) 

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• Should have proven track records in General accounting activities, Reconciliation, reporting, and Month closure activities.
• Candidate should be ready to deliver on critical timelines with accuracy.
• Candidate should be open to taking up any General accounting Functions roles including P2P, O2C, IC, PC, PA, Bank, and shuffle as per needs.
• Proactive, willing to learn and follow, adaptable, clear in accounting concepts, approachable, Team Player, Self-Starter, timeliness, all would be the key factor to succeed.
• Should have Excellent Verbal and Written Communication (must)

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Exposure to Global Accounting functions for General Accounting and Reconciliations across the central accounting team.
• People cost Accounting (Payroll).
• Preparation and review of payroll accrual journals, Benefit accruals, Tax entries, and Wire payment journals.
• Pension accruals, Bonus Accruals, Severance accounting. 
• Perform and review Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Blackline & OneStream exposure is an added advantage.
• Working exposure with organizations having Global Presence.
• Learn Accounting Concepts and Accounting Technical Matters.
• Mentorship, provide training to new hires on the Clarivate group policies and procedures to be followed for performing payroll activities.
• Follow Sox Guidelines without fail and no failures in internal or external audits & Zero Audit deficiencies. Need active participation in audit preparation.
• Any additional tasks assigned per process requirement from time to time need to be completed as per the assigned timeline

Hours of Work 

This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week .
