This role offers a hybrid work schedule.</div></div><div><div><div><div>Roles and Responsibilities:  Technical Leadership:  <ul><li>Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance aplications.  </li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.  </li><li>Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.  </li></ul>Application Development:  <ul><li>Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.  </li><li> Design and implement solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.  </li><li> Build and manage cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and containerization technologies.  </li></ul>CI/CD and Automation:  <ul><li>  Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness and Tekton.</li><li> Automate deployment processes and ensure smooth delivery of applications.  </li></ul>Messaging and Batch Processing:  <ul><li>Design and implement messaging solutions using Kafka.  </li><li>Develop and manage batch and scheduler-based processing systems.  </li></ul>Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:  <ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and QA engineers.  </li><li>Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  </li></ul>Banking Domain Expertise:  <ul><li>Leverage domain knowledge to design solutions that meet banking industry standards and compliance requirements.  </li></ul>Nice-to-Have Skills:  <ul><li> Work on front-end development using React.js for building user interfaces.  </li><li> Explore and integrate AI/LLM technologies into applications to enhance functionality.  </li><li>Develop scripts or tools using Python for automation or data processing.  </li></ul>Performance Optimization:  <ul><li> Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.  </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.  </li></ul>Qualifications:  <ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.  </li><li>8+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and related technologies.  </li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.  </li><li>Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and containerization.</li><li>Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Harness and Tekton.  </li><li>Experience with Kafka, batch processing, and schedulers.  </li><li>Familiarity with React.js, Python, and AI/LLM technologies is a plus.  </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:  <ul><li>Previous experience in the banking or financial services domain.  </li><li>Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and microservices architecture.  </li><li>Knowledge of security best practices in application development.  </li></ul>Join us to lead cutting-edge projects in the banking domain and drive innovation with modern technologies!Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this position).
