<div>Job Purpose:Global Legal Solutions (GLS) is dedicated to providing Citi’s Global Legal function with the operational support necessary to fulfill its mission of delivering innovative solutions and services for Citi’s Global Legal Department. GLS is a team of diverse individuals located around the world possessing a variety of legal, financial, technology and operational skills and experience. The group manages strategic law firm relationships; partners with Operations and Technology to develop technology infrastructure needed to manage legal matters and mitigate risk; and provide financial discipline and business intelligence used to manage legal spend.Legal Program Services (LPS), within GLS, support Citi Global Legal function with delivery of complex, critical, large regulatory, strategic re-platforming and risk &amp; control initiatives spanning multiple business lines that have an underpinning Legal component. The team leverage support from product legal &amp; country legal teams to ensure advice and assistance is provided to the appropriate initiatives in a timely manner. The portfolio is divided into 3 sub-portfolios: Regulatory Remediation, Business Mandatory and Process Management &amp; Improvement. A senior project manager is required to support Legal for various regulatory, business mandatory and strategic initiatives. The individual will lead multiple workstreams, analysing processes, collating information from cross business lines, providing options and presenting recommendations to a range of business problems. From a project management perspective, the individual will facilitate plan development, definition of delivery success criteria, track deliverables, oversee junior colleagues, and assist in preparation of material for various governance forums as well as manage key stakeholders in and outside of the Legal Department. This individual will work closely with Legal lawyers, business implementation teams, central project management teams, technology, legal data and external legal counsel to ensure the timely delivery of initiatives. </div><div><div><div><div></div></div></div></div>Key Responsibilities:The individual will have responsibility for regulatory / business mandatory / strategic initiatives:<ul><li>Establish and manage multiple projects in Legal Program Services portfolio</li><li>Manage and operate multi projects in parallel</li><li>Work with colleagues at a senior level across the organization to determine Legal inputs &amp; requirements, advocating new ideas/proposals</li><li>Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.</li><li>Ensure alignment to both functional area goals and legal strategy,</li><li>Define, manage and operate Legal delivery requirements, planning, RAIDS, governance and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a legal projects and programs, following structured delivery principles for all engagements</li><li>Oversee and design the approaches necessary to drive multiple legal workstreams of work to a successful conclusion</li><li>Ensure change management principles are applied, and understood by all impacted stakeholders, for all implementations.</li><li>Operate as Legal Program Services lead within strategic location which will require fostering strong relationships with GLS business partners and Legal stakeholders.</li><li>Develop, track and maintain project plans, including the provision of regular and accurate management reporting and KPIs.</li><li>Estimates budget, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints.</li><li>Manage risk assessments for changes in a controlled manner and communicate changes, enhancements, and modification through appropriate governance &amp; management channels – to project managers, vendor teams, sponsors, Citi’s central regulatory coordination team and other impacted stakeholders so that impact of change, issues and solutions are understood</li><li>Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.</li><li>Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills which are used to guide teams to developing holistic and robust E2E solutions that meet organization strategic priorities.</li><li>Work with the Legal SMEs and business functions to gather, analyze, document and validate requirements where needed, Create BRDs using recognized Business Analysis techniques (workshops, interviewing, process mapping, process and data analysis, etc.).</li><li>Mapping ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ business states, identifying opportunities for improvement, options for change, modelling different scenarios, analyzing impacts of change, and summarize options &amp; recommendations</li><li>Manage technology and vendor teams as required, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success</li><li>Coach matrix team of business analysts/project managers providing direction and guidance to achieve project objectives.</li><li>Manage delivery requirements with supporting business analysts, project managers, consultants, contractors and vendor teams as required, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success of programs.</li></ul>Knowledge/Experience:<ul><li>At least 10 years of project management/business analysis experience</li><li>At least 10 years work experience in Banking &amp; Capital Markets (or consultancy)</li><li>Significant experience of managing large scale, complex and projects with and without technology deliveries.</li><li>Deep experience of financial markets in at least one domain e.g., Loans, Derivatives, Securities</li><li>Exposure to any of the following would be beneficial i) client regulatory outreach projects ii) LIBOR remediation iii) benchmarking iv) MIFID2 v) UMR.</li><li>Managing vendor staff, consultants as well as non-direct reports (influencing wider stakeholders to deliver to project goals)</li><li>Experience of client outreach and/or legal projects highly beneficial</li><li>Exposure to Legal and Compliance highly beneficial</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, applies collaborative approach and capable and confident in developing strong team and stakeholder relationships</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills and the ability to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with a range of stakeholders.</li><li>Strong analytical quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, being able to diagnose root cause of issues and define KPI for programs.</li><li>Strong time management skills: efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard.</li><li>Excellent data analysis skills, ability to analyze data using Excel including pivot tables, macros and functions.</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio skills with ability to create business focused presentations and clear process flows.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>University Bachelor’s degree essential</li><li>Any Change / Project Management certification beneficial</li></ul>Competencies:<ul><li>Results-oriented, strong work ethic, dedicated problem solver with a growth mindset and solution focused</li><li>Proven ability to prioritize workload and shift activities to meet business needs and department goals</li><li>Ability to build effective business relationships</li><li>Excellent project management skills</li></ul>------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Legal------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Legal Professionals------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Tampa Florida United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$130,880.00 - $196,320.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
