As the Public Cloud Containers (Fleet Management) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our public cloud strategy.You will be part of a team that continues to deliver big! From building a cloud-based High-Performance Compute (HPC) platform to run huge risk calculations, enabling Citi to leverage GenAI at scale, all the way to enabling payments solutions, this team is at the forefront of innovation.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on technical contribution within a product team that focuses on public cloud container fleet management services, supporting Citis secure and enterprise-scale adoption of the public cloud.</li><li>Collaborative Development: Contribute to a team of cloud engineers and full-stack software developers, building and deploying solutions that advance the public cloud strategy.</li><li>Automation: Identify and develop automation initiatives to improve processes related to public cloud service consumption, enhancing client satisfaction and delivering business value.</li><li>Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with teams across Citis technology landscape to ensure alignment between public cloud initiatives and broader business goals.</li><li>Engineering Excellence: Contribute to defining and measuring success criteria for service availability and reliability within the specific product domain.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role</li><li>Development Expertise: Experienced in full-stack software development with a focus on AWS and GCP. Demonstrates hands-on software development and engineering expertise. Key areas of proficiency include:<ul><li>Programming Languages: Python, Java and Go.  </li><li>AI/ML: prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG, Semantic Search, Vector Databases, etc </li><li>Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) Testing:  Cucumber, JBehave, Pytest-BDD, etc.</li><li>CI/CD  pipelines: Harness, Tekton, Jenkins, etc. </li><li>Knowledge on middleware &amp; distributed messaging (Kafka) </li><li>Databases (MongoDB and SQL) </li><li>Terraform</li></ul></li></ul> Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Master’s degree preferred</li></ul> This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
