The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems and programming activities.Responsibilities:    Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.     Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.     Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint     Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation     Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals     Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions     Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary     Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Tech Skills:    8+ years overall experience in a Java,J2EE,React or similar UI technology stack.     Back-end: Spring, Spring boot, Java 17+, Design patterns, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes,Python(Good to have)     Strong fundamentals of OOPS (Object Oriented Programming Standards) Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms     Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solution with non-functional requirements like scalability, high availability, consistency.     Ability to write Clean code using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading     Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST protocols     Fundamental database concepts and experience with a relational database (Postgresql, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms or similar database technology.     Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.     Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes     Usage of Swagger/Open API specification to define, document, implement and test APIs     A good understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles     Should have good understanding of Containers, docker deployment,Good understanding of observability and devops     Strong knowledge with testing frameworks     Experience in performing effective code and design reviews.     Experience in High-Speed Messaging platforms such as KAFKA .     Experience using GenAI tools such as copilot for code development, testing .     Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools.
