Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional management teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes, aligning with business goals and driving product innovation and process improvements.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and expertise in application programming, ensuring adherence to architectural blueprints and best practices.</li><li>Champion and implement modern software development methodologies, including Kotlin for backend development, React for frontend development, and TDD to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.</li><li>Develop and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, debugging protocols, and implementation strategies.</li><li>Possess a deep understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and their integration to achieve business objectives.</li><li>Analyze complex business processes and system workflows, identifying and resolving high-impact problems and projects.</li><li>Propose innovative solutions to address business challenges, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.</li><li>Mentor and coach mid-level developers and analysts, providing guidance, allocating tasks, and fostering professional growth.</li><li>Maintain a strong focus on risk management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>7-10 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.</li><li>Extensive experience in software application design, development, and implementation.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Kotlin for backend development and React for frontend development.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and associated frameworks.</li><li>Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices.</li><li>Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Masters degree preferred.</li></ul>Bonus Points:<ul><li>Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul>This job description provides a high-level overview of the role.
