The Head of Marketing Capabilities is responsible for driving and implementing best-in-class marketing technology platforms and tools to deliver against Citi’s Services strategic vision of generating always-on and personalized marketing offers. The individual in this role will inform, plan, and deliver Citi Services Marketing’s Technology stack to attract new prospects and engage our institutional clients. This role is critical to the organization as they will build a team to define and deliver on Citi Services’ MarTech roadmap that is designed for ease of use, automating, and speed to market to deliver seamless digital customer experiences that are personalized and relevant. The MarTech stack will enable data driven decisions with automation, streamline process that drive operating efficiency and improve business performance across Citi Services line of business, while aligning to the centralized Marketing function.The job requires a deep understanding of technology and the landscape regarding tools/services, architectural design and key players such as, but not limited to, Adobe Experience Manager, Seismic, Workfront, Salesforce, Oracle CRM, Data Architecture platform (AWS, Azure), Marketing Automation, Tableau, Snowflake, Pega, etc.  This leader will have strong passion and experience with driving large scale transformation initiatives.  An ideal candidate will be someone that can build strong partnerships with our Business Strategy, Technology and Analytics organizations to design robust marketing journeys and transformation roadmaps that result in driving our end-state commercial business objectives. The individual will be a data driven decision maker with proven communication skills that is hyper focused on problem solving and experience with delivering multiyear transformation projects.Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Define and drive the strategic agenda for the Services Marketing organization’s MarTech roadmap, mobilizing key partners across the end-to-end ecosystem inclusive of near term &amp; long-term priorities for critical domains e.g. campaign management &amp; workflow, content management, channel management &amp; delivery, audience management, etc.</li><li>Design and deliver prioritized MarTech stack capabilities and infrastructure strategies roadmap for the e Services Marketing organization aligned with the Services business priorities, the initiatives of the Marketing Innovation and Content team within the centralized Marketing and Content organization, and firm-wide policies, and global regulations.</li><li>They must also be able to secure necessary resources and processes to successfully deliver on plan. Responsible to deliver Adobe content stack, enabling dynamic, personalized digital content, and testing capabilities. In addition, build next generation offer management infrastructure to enable real-time, always on, customer level promotional offers.</li><li>Responsible for managing the oversight of the marketing platform capabilities and infrastructure that spans traditional and non-digital marketing needs.</li><li>Track and manage the multi-year and multi million investment for MarTech Book of Work.</li><li>Ensure the proper control and operational models are designed, socialized and adopted upon migration to new capabilities and establish automated reporting and analytics to deliver robust insights on transformation KPIs</li><li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>15+ years of experience with leading digital transformation and integration of MarTech projects including Seismic, Workfront, Adobe AEM, Offer management tools, Pega, Salesforce marketing cloud, etc.</li><li>8-10+ years of managerial experience with high performing Marketing Technology solution teams</li><li>Experience with marketing technology architecture, backend systems, data dependencies, and front-end interfaces that are required to implement and execute digital marketing campaigns</li><li>Analytical and conceptual thinker with ability to operate in “white space” with experience in both building strategy and executing it with demonstrable results and outcomes</li><li>Customer-centric and tech-savvy product leader that has driven technical and operational teams to solutions that focus on delivering outstanding experiences supported by agile and efficient operational processes.</li><li>Executive leadership skills and demonstrated success in conveying complex concepts, solutions, and relevant business impacts to leadership audiences to gain support and sponsorship for projects.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with the ability to influence the development and execution of key strategies/initiatives</li><li>Expert knowledge of the industry and direct competitors products/services to drive to the commercial objectives of the business, as well as thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the business</li><li>Act as a change management champion, educating the greater marketing organization on how to leverage new capabilities to drive their strategy.</li></ul>Education:• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Marketing------------------------------------------------------Job Family:In-Business Marketing------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$170,000.00 - $300,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
