The Department  Developer Enablement is a function of the CTO organisation. The main goals are to improve and upgrade our tools, streamline our processes, automate and strengthen our controls, and help development teams adopt modern working methods. The Role  Were seeking a technically versatile GenAI Solutions Engineer Lead to join our department. Youll help set the technical direction, lead by example, and embed cutting-edge GenAI practices into our software delivery. This role requires deep expertise in software engineering and the latest in Generative AI, with the ability to embed these practices into teams and promote a collaborative, high-performing culture.   As the GenAI Solutions Engineer, you’ll need to demonstrate a deep understanding of user needs and contributing to the overall product vision, translating cutting-edge GenAI research into scalable, production-grade solutions, bridging the gap between experimentation and enterprise deployment.   Our tech stack is diverse, encompassing (but not limited to) Python, Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Mongo, and Generative AI features requiring adaptability and a willingness to learn.    Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead applied GenAI research, focusing on prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows </li><li>Architect and deliver end-to-end LLM solutions – from experimentation to production </li><li>Design evaluation frameworks to benchmark LLM performance, safety, and behaviour </li><li>Build integration layers connecting LLMs to APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems </li><li>Collaborate across teams to drive adoption of modern engineering practices and GenAI tooling   </li></ul>Characteristics: <ul><li>Able to identify and solve problems effectively </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills </li><li>A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams and remotely </li><li>Pragmatic, and a creative approach to managing risk </li><li>An advocate of inclusion and diversity in every way </li><li>A growth mindset and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Shows enthusiasm and develops trust through empathy   </li></ul>Experience: <ul><li>Proven experience as an Engineering Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar role </li><li>Strong expertise in multiple programming languages (preferably Python, Go, and TypeScript), frameworks, and tools </li><li>Have deployed LLM systems to production and understand evaluation, guard-railing, and monitoring </li><li>Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based micro-services, distributed logs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps </li><li>Experience working in a product focused team as opposed to a project focused team is beneficial </li></ul>What we’ll provide youThis is a unique role that will put you in the position to be part of a new venture and actively drive change.
