The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas</li><li>Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users</li><li>Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement</li><li>Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality</li><li>Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems</li><li>Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes</li><li>Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts</li><li>Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. </li><li>Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. </li><li>Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.</li><li>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.</li></ul>Required Qualifications <ul><li>5-8 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer using Java 17, Spring, Spring boot, microservices, design patterns, PL/SQL, Kubernetes</li><li>5-8 years of experience with software engineering best practices (Junit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.).</li><li>Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object Oriented Principles using Java 17</li><li>5-8 years of experience on Service Oriented and Microservices architectures, including REST and GraphQL implementations</li><li>Exposure to Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)</li><li>5-8  years of experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.</li><li>Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, either on-premise or public cloud (i.e., Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, etc.).</li><li>Multiple years of experience with agile and iterative software delivery (SCRUM, Kanban)</li><li>Exposure to Database technologies (RDBMS, Oracle, Mongo)</li><li>Exposure to event-driven design and architecture (i.e., Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Exposure to architecture experience in building horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low latency applications.</li><li>Exposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premise and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.).</li><li>Exposure to API Management tools</li><li>Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (i.e., Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Security, Observability, and Monitoring (i.e., Grafana Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)</li><li>Experience mentoring junior developers</li><li>Exposure to database concepts (RDBMS, NoSQL) and web-based technologies (Angular/React) is a plus</li></ul>  <ul></ul>------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Tampa Florida United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$96,960.00 - $145,440.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
