This role offers the unique experience of supporting the development of Citi’s network of the future, supporting the development of the new products, network, and modernization.The Digital Asset Payment Product - VP is an important role responsible for driving product delivery, innovation, and execution within the rapidly evolving digital asset and payments space. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of global payments, digital asset ecosystems, and a strong commercial awareness to lead the development and management of innovative, turn-key solutions. This VP role will have oversight over the product lifecycle from strategy through to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and a superior customer experience. This position will foster cross-functional collaboration, manage a global portfolio, and act as a champion for the products both internally and externally.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Product Strategy &amp; Vision: Own and refine the global product strategy for digital asset payments, focused on leveraging our market leading payment capabilities to the benefit of  Virtual Asset Service Providers, influencing long-term strategic direction and investment allocation globally.</li><li>P&amp;L Management: Manage the profit and loss (P&amp;L) for the digital asset payments portfolio, in particular for VASPs, including reporting, analyzing financials, and ensuring achievement of financial goals.</li><li>Customer Experience &amp; Solutions: Oversee and drive the strategy for customer experience within digital asset payments, identifying customer needs and ensuring the execution of underlying initiatives to deliver market-leading solutions and services.</li><li>Partnerships &amp; Alliances: Support the development and expansion of strategic partnerships and alliances within the digital product ecosystem to create innovative and integrated offerings.</li><li>Cross-Functional Leadership &amp; Collaboration: Drive action and foster strong collaborative relationships across various departments and leadership levels, including Operations, Technology, Sales, Control Functions, 1st Line of Defense (1LOD), and 2nd Line of Defense (2LOD) to achieve goals, manage risk and maintain a robust operational model.</li><li>Risk Management &amp; Compliance: Appropriately assess and mitigate risk when making business decisions, demonstrating strong consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and managing control issues with transparency, particularly in relation to AML frameworks.</li><li>Strategic Roadmapping &amp; Innovation: Refine and maintain global roadmaps for digital asset payment products, ensuring a holistic perspective on existing processes and identifying areas for technological advancements and continuous improvement.</li><li>Market Evangelism &amp; Positioning: Act as a key evangelist for the digital asset payment products, driving visibility and positioning to internal audiences, and within the marketplace.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelors/University degree required, Masters degree preferred.</li><li>6+ years of progressive and relevant experience in product management within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on payments, digital assets, and/or emerging technologies.</li><li>Product Expertise: Relevant product experience with knowledge of digital assets, stablecoins, payment systems, and familiarity with the broader industry ecosystem.</li><li>Leadership: Proven ability to drive successful outcomes from cross-functional teams, drive initiatives through to completion, and effectively supervise and hold others accountable.</li><li>Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain a holistic and challenging view of processes and procedures, with a focus on risk mitigation, effectiveness, and scalability.</li><li>Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex messages effectively to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.</li><li>Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across various departments and leadership levels.</li><li>Proactiveness &amp; Time Management: Proven ability to take initiative, operate effectively at high levels with minimal direction, and manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.</li><li>Risk &amp; Compliance Acumen: Strong understanding of compliance control frameworks and regulatory compliance.</li></ul>------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Product Management and Development------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Product Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$129,840.00 - $194,760.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
