Asset Servicing is a Markets Operations group represented globally across the NAM, EMEA and APAC regions. The Asset Servicing department is responsible for processing Corporate Actions and Income events for Firms and client’s positions. The events and transactions managed include election instructions, reconciliation, and entitlement postings for Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Actions, Dividends and Income, Proxy, and Conversion events in the Market.  Our team provides direct support to Prime Brokerage, Firm trading desks, Stock Lending, Repo, and SWAPS for Equity and Fixed Income securities.This position will primarily focus on processing activities for the NAM Mandatory Corporate Actions team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise the reconciliation of daily events arising from Corporate Actions, ensure all processes have been followed and confirm completion of workplans each day.</li><li>Supervise a team of analysts to ensure daily tasks are prioritized correctly based on regulatory restrictions. </li><li>Complete the approvals of daily maker-checker review files, and signoff end of day completion of all mandatory tasks.  </li><li>Identify procedure gaps and actively manage the streamlining of related work processes within your team.</li><li>Develop a good understanding of products, processes, and industry practices and standards within your team. </li><li>Apply a good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the wider team/working group. </li><li>Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, with whom you may exchange potentially complex/sensitive information to progress work and resolve issues. </li><li>Create a culture of good governance by applying the rules, regulations, procedures, and controls that have been put in place to minimize risk to Citigroup, its clients, and assets, and apply them appropriately. </li><li>Prepare appropriate business reporting including internal and external regulatory reports.  </li><li>Supervise and conduct the training, development and mentoring of team. </li><li>Plan, develop and implement process transformation programs, including the reduction of manual processes. </li><li>Supervise team, their individual goals and manage performance.</li><li>Supervise user testing of new technology enhancements and identify and escalate any issues. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by your line manager. </li></ul>Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions.</li><li>Possess an expert knowledge across Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions across Equity and Fixed Income products, Domestic and International, including the trade and corporate action lifecycles</li><li>Understanding of Stock Record; long/shorts, and various position types including stock lending positions; understanding of Swift MT564/568/566</li><li>Advanced experience level with Excel, Outlook, and experience with web based applications required</li><li>Proven record of accuracy and effective time management and prioritization skills with the ability to work in multiple systems and handle high email and event volumes</li><li>Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, with conflicting demands and under tight deadlines</li><li>Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive</li><li>Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise.</li><li></li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience</li></ul>------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Operations - Transaction Services------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Asset Servicing------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Getzville New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$70,080.00 - $105,120.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
