RDM provides centralized data and operations platforms spanning accounts, pricing, securities, corporate actions, know-your-customer, and loans pledging.The UI Angular Senior Developer (Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst - C12) is a position in Reference Data Technology Team and will play a pivotal role and responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Analyze, Design and develop applications using Java, UI Frameworks, Microservices and relational database as full stack developer</li><li>Develop UI components, screens using the UI technologies such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.</li><li>Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to improve performance and user experience.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest Angular versions, tools, and industry trends, implementing new technologies and techniques where applicable.</li><li>Strong understanding of front-end web development, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.</li><li>Proficient in TypeScript, Angular components, modules, and services.</li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful services and API integration.</li><li>Experience with version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.</li><li>Collaborate with technical leadership to ensure work is aligned to the broad technical strategy</li><li>Provide thought leadership, as well as coaching and development for junior team members</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on professional experience in front-end/UI development using Angular (preferably Angular 4+)</li><li>Proven track record in a UI/Frontend development capacity</li><li>Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 etc.</li><li>Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating front-end components with backend services.</li><li>Proficiency in UI/UX best practices </li><li>Strong understanding of frontend tools (Webpack, Angular CLI, npm, yarn, gulp etc.) and version control systems like Git.</li><li>Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.)</li><li>Experience in managing and implementing successful projects</li><li>Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate</li><li>Demonstrated leadership and project management skills</li><li>Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Exposure to Cloud infrastructure both on-premises and public cloud (i.e., OpenShift, AWS, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools (Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)</li><li>Multiple years of experience CI/CD pipelines and using front-end test strategies and frameworks (Cypress, jasmine, karma, selenium etc.)</li><li>Exposure to event-driven design and architecture (Kafka, Spark Flink, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, </li><li>Exposure to Security, Observability, and Monitoring tools (Grafana Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to database concepts (RDBMS, NoSQL)</li></ul> Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience</li></ul>This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
