We encourage and support the pursuit of advanced certifications and thought leadership in the audit and technology space.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to support audit engagement success and promote collaboration.</li><li>Independently assesses functions and activities to evaluate operational effectiveness and control adequacy.</li><li>Plan and scope audits that align with organizational priorities and risk profiles.</li><li>Analyze complex data and evidence to form objective, actionable insights.</li><li>Communicate findings clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.</li><li>Prepare high-impact audit reports tailored to stakeholder needs.</li><li>Monitor finding remediation efforts and provide strategic guidance on risk mitigation.</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex issues.</li><li>Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.</li><li>Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in internal or external IT auditing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.</li><li>Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CIA, or other relevant credentials) strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.</li><li>Experience with complex IT environments (mainframe, midrange, client/server).</li><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding of risk and control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001).</li><li>Possess technical fluency across the IT stack, including network, operating system, database, and application layers.</li><li>Proven ability to assess automated controls and IT-dependent processes.</li><li>Experience with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and large-scale system implementations.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, ACL, Tableau, Power BI).</li></ul>Knowledge and Abilities:<ul><li>Collaborates effectively within the team and cross-functional teams to research and resolve issues using innovative and practical solutions.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to executive audiences.</li><li>Provides and welcomes constructive feedback in real-time to help with continuous self and team improvement.</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, thriving well under pressure.</li><li>High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.</li><li>Owns personal growth, development and a commitment to continuous learning.</li><li>Accountable and professional in all work and commitments.</li><li>Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred and considered a valuable asset.</li><li>Positively represent Cigna’s brand in all professional settings.</li><li>Location: Hybrid work from Bloomfield, CT; Franklin, TN; St. Louis, MO; or Philadelphia, PA</li></ul> If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About The Cigna Group Doing something meaningful starts with a simple decision, a commitment to changing lives.
